Foreign Office Summons Indian Charge D’affaires

Indian charge D’Affaires summoned to register Pakistan’s strong protest on ceasefire violations by Indian Forces along the line of control resulting serious injures to ten persons including Women and Children.

The Indian Occupation Forces voilated the Ceasefire along the line of control at Jabbar, Sandhara, Sumbal Gali and Dabsi Villages of Kotli areas.

He said that by raising tensions along the LOC and the working Boundar, India cannot divert attention from the worsening human rights situation in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Director General South Asia & SAARC Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri called upon the Indian side to respect the 2003 Ceasefire understanding and investigate this and other such incidents of deliberate Ceasefire violations and maintain peace on the LOC.

He also urged that India should permit the United Nations Military Observer group in India and Pakistan to play its mandated role as per the United Nations Security Council.
